Bottom of the keyway - BoK
Top of the keywar - ToK
ToK is by far easier to utilize. You can employ fairly hard pressure where BoK requires the least amount possible to complete the rotation.
ToK is cheating as far as I am concerned.
Peterson came up with a line of ToK wrenches call "Pry Bars."
They are avail in a couple of thicknesses and have serrated edges.
(Be aware they will mark the lock, not damage but there will be grooves in the upper part of the keyway)
MadBob makes a set that are not serrated and three of the offerings is curved.
You may find you have far more wrenches to choose from than picks.

The finish MadBob delivers is by far superior. The thickness as well as his logo are etched into the wrench - you always know what you have in your hand. They are also competitive, price wise.
When you employ the bottom of the keyway you need to use much less tension and have to be especially careful the wrench is not binding the core and allows for free rotation.
